Calligraphy Art in Islam

Before Islam, various lines, including Kerry, Pahlavi and Avestan, have been prevalent in Iran
With the advent of Islam, our scholars have accepted the alphabet and Islamic lines, and thus the usual line, when it was formed almost two centuries before Islam, was the Kufic line and the old version.

These two lines were taken from two Kotati and Syriac lines, and in the late fourth century Lunar, Ibn Muqllah Baqiyuki Shirazi, lines were created which became known as the lines of the principle.

These lines are: Researcher, Basil, Thallis, Naskh, Reqa’ah and Dehqai which means their differentiation is in the form of letters and words, and the level of proportion and distance in each.

In the eighth century, Mir Ali Tebyzi created and merged two lines of manuscripts and a linear suspension called Nashtah Aliuk, which became very popular, resulting in a tremendous transformation in the art of calligraphy.

The line is about a surface danger and the rest is distant, and its name has been changed due to the plurality of usage in Nestalic.

According to the professors of calligraphy, this line is one of the most beautiful and delicate and difficult Persian lines, and it can be said that the bride is the Persian lines.

After Mir-Ali Tabrizi, his son Mir-Abdollah, and after him, Mirza Ja’far Tabrizi, and Tabrizi’s statement on the development of the Nastaliq line, made a great effort to turn to Sultan Ali Mashhadi, which served as a great service to this noble art.
